FootyFit Terms & Conditions

Welcome to FootyFit, a UK-based football fitness and weight-loss league designed to support men’s physical, mental, and social wellbeing through regular football and community accountability.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in FootyFit sessions and your use of our website.

By registering, attending sessions, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

To participate in FootyFit, you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over

  • Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy

  • Be medically fit to take part in moderate physical activity

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration

2. Health & Safety

Your health and safety are important to us. By taking part, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for assessing your own physical readiness to participate

  • You will disclose any relevant medical conditions honestly during registration

  • You will seek medical advice if unsure about your ability to participate

  • Football and physical activity involve inherent risks, including injury

FootyFit is not responsible for injuries or health issues arising from participation unless caused by negligence on our part.

3. Registration & Payment

  • All participants must register through our official channels (website or direct registration)

  • Payments are made on a monthly basis

  • Fees must be paid in advance to secure your place

  • Fees are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances at FootyFit’s discretion (e.g. medical withdrawal with notice)

4. Cancellations & Session Changes

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to weather, venue availability, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances

  • Where sessions are cancelled by FootyFit, we may offer a replacement session or credit where appropriate

  • No refunds are given for individual missed sessions

5. Code of Conduct

FootyFit is built on respect, inclusivity, and support. By joining, you agree to:

  • Treat all players, organisers, and venue staff with respect

  • Avoid aggressive, abusive, or discriminatory behaviour

  • Play safely and fairly

  • Refrain from alcohol or substance use that could affect safety

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any participant who breaches this code, without refund.

6. Photos, Videos & Media

With your consent, FootyFit may capture photos or videos during sessions for:

  • Social media

  • Marketing and promotional use

  • Community updates

You may opt out at any time by contacting us. We will not knowingly use identifiable images against your wishes.

7. Weight Loss & Results Disclaimer

  • Weight loss and fitness results vary between individuals

  • FootyFit does not guarantee specific results

  • Any tracking, challenges, or incentives are motivational tools, not medical advice

Participants remain responsible for their own health choices outside of sessions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • FootyFit is not liable for injury, illness, or loss of personal property during participation

  • You participate at your own risk

  • Our liability for any claim is limited to the total fees paid by you for the relevant period

9. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use it for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt unauthorised access to systems

  • Upload malicious or harmful content

We reserve the right to restrict access if these terms are breached.

10. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any significant changes will be posted on our website. Continued participation indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
